Role Summary

The Despatch and Operations Administrator supports the Production Planner and the wider Operations team by ensuring smooth administrative processes. This role focuses on the timely preparation and release of documentation to facilitate customer deliveries and provides additional operational support as needed.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the preparation and release of all delivery paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely despatch from production to customer.
  • Collaborate closely with the despatch team to maintain efficient material and documentation flow for all sales orders.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Operations team as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / experience to demonstrate competence in role:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar administrative or operational role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to lead and support team initiatives
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
